Naomi Nursery School Foundation Inc is a Not – For – Profit Corporation, approved by the I.R.S. to conduct charitable work for needy pre-school African children, attending the Naomi Nursery School in Bunyore, Kenya.
We fulfill our Mission in several ways:
- First of all hunger. Children can not learn well if they are hungry. The school has established a Breakfast and Lunch Program for this reason. Due to the poverty in the area this maybe the two best meals of the day, maybe the only meals of the day for the children.
- We supply funds for books, writing material such as note books, pencils, crayons and chalk for the blackboard, picture books (a picture is worth a thousand words), books widen the horizons and make the world smaller.
- Teachers have to be paid. The foundation supplements the salaries, because many of the parents cannot afford the $ 3.00 per month fee.

To promote education for at risk children who have limited access to a pre-school facility. One way to fight poverty in Africa is to invest in education. The Foundation is committed to that goal.
